Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use ShortMovies, the website shortmovies.io and the ShortMovies apps for iPhone and Android (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by ShortMovies (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying anything on the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
ShortMovies lets you watch short drama series made of 1–2 minute episodes. The first episodes of each series are free. Other episodes can be unlocked with coins, by watching a short ad where offered, or with a VIP subscription.
2. Your account
You sign in with your email (we send you a one-time code) or with Google. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age in your country, to create an account. Keep access to your email safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. One account works on the website and in the apps.
3. Coins
- Coins are a virtual currency used only to unlock episodes on ShortMovies. They have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred to another account.
- Bought coins do not expire while your account is open. Free bonus coins (sign-up, daily check-in, rewards) may have limits and can be changed or ended.
- An episode unlocked with coins stays unlocked on your account for as long as the series is available on the Service.
4. VIP subscription
- VIP gives access to every episode included in VIP and removes ads while it is active.
- VIP is offered weekly, monthly or yearly. It renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown at purchase until you cancel.
- If a free trial is offered, you will be charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- You can cancel at any time. Bought on the website: use the link in your receipt email from Paddle, or contact us. Bought in the app: cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. VIP stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
5. Payments
Payments on the website are processed by Paddle.com, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, taxes and payment-related customer service for those orders, and Paddle’s buyer terms also apply. Purchases inside the iPhone or Android app are processed by Apple or Google under their terms. Prices are shown before you pay and include VAT where required.

7. Acceptable use
You may watch the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not download, record, copy, re-upload or share episodes; get around locks, ads or payments; use bots or scrapers; share your account publicly; or use the Service in a way that breaks the law. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
8. Content
All series, episodes, images and the ShortMovies name and logo belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Series can be added, changed or removed over time, for example when a license ends.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change features, prices for future purchases, or these terms. If we make an important change we will tell you on the Service or by email before it applies.
10. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Account settings on the website or in the app. Unused coins are lost when an account is deleted.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where ShortMovies is registered, without affecting the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.
